We stayed at the N1 Hotel for 4 nights in early December. It was the cheapest hotel/motel we could find (unless one wants to resort to hostel). from my research, the next level of hotel is at least 50 to 70% more expensive.

For budget travelers who spend most their days outdoor, this is probably the best bang for the buck.

the hotel is central to everything at vic falls, from restaurants to shopping villages to vic falls national park. all walking distance within about 10-15 mins max.

The room is fairly small but very clean. the bed is of average comfort (could be a little firmer but that's just my preference). the shower is small but water pressure is very good. there is not much to see on tv.

I did not use the pool. the restaurant downstairs is very rudimentary. we tried their breakfast ($5) and it was a bad idea. breakfast options at vic falls aren't too great unless you stay at a fancy hotel.

the service is very attentive. they seem to remember most their guests and we've asked them to relay messages to tour companies (no phone in the rooms) and they did perfectly.

only one inconvenience during the stay. their wifi (very fast and reliable) requires a new login and password on a daily basis. sometimes it kicks you off for no good reason. so every day or sometimes twice a day we had to go to the front desk to ask for a new login and password. but they were very pleasant about the whole process and sometimes we would just ask for additional login/passwords in case we got kicked out of the network for no good reason.

definitely a cheap, comfortable stay at a central location. if you were in vic falls to enjoy the hotel and spa, then this is not the place for you (it's not a resort). if you're budget conscious and are going to be out and about, this place hits the sweet spot.

Generally my stay was alright just had issues with the power sockets as all were round plugs, the linen was clean but also found out that there are no phones in the rooms each time i wanted to ask something i had to walk down the stairs and go ask at the reception which i think should be addressed as well

We booked a superior room for 2 nights because the price was reasonable and it's walking distance to Victoria Falls. Unfortunately we didn't enjoy our stay very much; the room had big windows facing the street but the blinds didn't cover the windows well and we felt like people could see right into our room. Our room was very noisy as well. The bathroom had a tiny shower and a tiny little sink. On our 2nd night they had a power outage (they said the whole town was affected), and we were completely without power and in darkness for the whole evening. They said it was out of their control but I feel like they should have had some kind of backup plan or at least given us some kind of compensation for our troubles. The pros of this hotel is the price, the location and the service was also good. They let us keep our luggage in the hotel's storage room for 3 days while we were doing a safari camping trip in Chobe National Park. Beside the hotel there is lots of markets for souvenirs within walking distance.

we stayed her for 4 nights.it was quite. It was quite and close to the falls by walking distance. the pool was clean and nice. the breakfast was ok. the only thing is that every time the room was cleaned the bathroom mat was left on our luggage, on the stool or on the mini couch and we had to place it back in the bath room. very funny
