The Victoria Falls Safari Club is a well located lodge with magnificent rooms & views, with a fine staff.
The free shuttle is a excellent way to get around town & to the Falls on your own schedule.
The public lounge is a good place to enjoy a coffee or sundowner.

Hello LA, great Trip Advisor nom-de-plume...hope you saw a few leopards on your safaris? Tbank you for your endorsement of your stay at our very special Club - the rooms and the most glorious views from any lodge in Victoria falls are our real unique signature. The free on-the-hour shuttle is also very important for guests as they can enjoy the solitude of nature - the real Africa - and yet be just 10 minutes away from the falls and the town centre. A big plus for our guest, Claire Wright. Club Manager. claire@saflodge.co.zw

We decided to include Victoria Falls into our annual family getaway and had the privilege of being upgraded to the Victoria Falls Safari Club when checking in... What a fantastic experience!

The rooms are beautifully decorated and they bring in tasteful decorative elements of the natural surrondings - the light fitting made out of branches really sticks out in my mind! Our bed was huge and the mosquito net covered the whole bed easily, which is a nice change from the usual stretching to make it work on such a gigantic bed! We had Nespresso machines in each of the rooms, which was a treat for all and the men especially enjoyed experimenting with the various pods and then comparing tastes! Each room has a private balcony which overlooked the waterhole. A perfect way to enjoy your morning cuppa.

Victoria Falls Safari Club has its own "clubhouse" which is where you eat all your meals, enjoy the complimentary snacks and sundowners and there is a beautiful deck where you can sit in comfort overlooking the waterhole. There are also couches, newspapers, books and internet. I enjoyed the fact that you were separated from the bulk of visitors staying at the main hotel. When we were staying there we only had 3 - 4 other families and so we were all able to relax in our own space without interfering with the other guests.

The shuttle service that is offered picks you up and drops you off from right outside the club - no need to walk to the main hotel! And they will do the same if you want to go to the Boma Restaurant in the evening. Just a warning that when staff tell you your plates at the Boma are hot they really mean it! We had an incident where a plate was touched and fingers were burnt and this put a damper on the evening as no drumming could be done by the individual. A burn cream was found after a long period and this did help, but best not to touch the plates!

The staff at the Safari Club are very friendly and helpful. They offer great advice on what to do and how to handle the markets and are always willing to go out of their way to make your trip enjoyable!

When we next travel to Victoria Falls we will be booking to stay at the Safari Club - no questions asked! I recommend you do the same... and do a dinner at the Boma, as a local I really enjoyed it. As a tourist, its an unforgettable experience and a good value evening. Dinner and Entertainment all rolled into one! Be sure to go hungry!

Dear Lauren, your wonderful review of The Club is hugely appreciated as it so vividly paints the fullest possible picture of a guest's experience. It touches on so many finer points that people actually enjoy as surprise treats - the Nespresso machine, the gigantic beds...etc. I'm sure many travelers researching a visit to Victoria Falls will find your review to be highly informative. We're sure it will help us to win more guests, so thank you for your time in describing - and appreciating - your family visit to beautifully. Claire Wright. Club Manager. claire@saflodge.co.zw

Having travelled for years and experienced many up market accommodation Resorts found the VFS Club up there with the best if not the best re amenities for the international traveller . (eg didn't matter what country you came from your electric plugs fitted without an adapter, even a vacuum cork for unfinished bottle of wine, free unlimited Wi Fi Internet, Free Bar Frig content).
Food, excellent friendly service from all the staff, absolutely nothing was a problem. Frequent transport everywhere. Victoria Falls a must see, would recommend seeing by helicopter then by escorted ground tour. The town was interesting with a policy of no hassle for the tourists which was enforced by friendly tourist Police. (Markets had no TPs)

Dear Rod
Thank you for one of the most powerful reviews we could wish to receive. To acclaim The Club as up with the best in the world for the international traveler will certainly hit the mark with a lot of discerning people searching Trip Advisor for somewhere special to stay at Victoria Falls. We're delighted that you have not just concentrated on the big picture but on how the little things really do mean a lot - the international plug points (no adapters required),the cork for opened wine, the free wi-fi. They make a difference and so thank you for mentioning them. Claire Wright. Club Manager. claire@saflodge.co.zw

Our 2 night stay was most enjoyable. The rooms and outlook were exceptional. The sunset drink and appetisers on the deck was relaxing and enjoyable. The Boma evening provided an interesting cultural experience. The staff were courteous and friendly. The shuttle to town and to The Falls was convenient. This accommodation topped off a great experience at Victoria Falls.

The VF Safari Club was incredible...luxury! The staff at the Club was awesome and made you feel like a VIP from the second you arrived and every second after that (whether it was just a greeting, help in setting up an excursion, drinks at the bar, the trinkets left on your bed at night, etc). The rooms and the lobby area were beautiful and it was nice to feel like you were at an exclusive part of the overall VF Safari Lodge. Although we didn't mind going over to the Lodge, the Club was quieter and more peaceful and we preferred to spend our time there. It would've been nice to have more food options over at the Club. Overall, it was amazing and I would go back in a heartbeat!!

I stayed at the Victoria Falls Safari Club in March 2013 and I've never had such great customer service! The staff was wonderful. Someone was always available to help with any question or request. We were greated with scented cool washclothes and a refreshing drink. The rooms are great and romantic. The views from the rooms and main lodge area are great. We saw tons of wildlife during our stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Victoria Falls.

The shower and tub are open to the rest of the room so it is more appropriate for a couple vacation. However, I went with a friend and we just made it work and tried to give each other privacy and still had a wonderful stay. I didn't want to leave!
