Stayed here for two nights mainly to visit the Victoria Falls - which was wonderful - but it also was a truly wonderful intro to Africa and it's wildlife. Watching elephant and storks, impala etc at the waterhole whilst sipping cocktails on the veranda was something I shall never forget. The food was exceptional also. A thoroughly enjoyable stay - no complaints at all!

Loved this location. While it is true that you can't walk to town from the lodge, the free shuttle operated hourly and you just can't beat looking out over herds of elephants and buffalo from your balcony or from the restaurant while dining. Beautiful lodge!

This hotel complex is definitely not suitable for any one with mobility issues - loads of stairs/steps. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room had a balcony overlooking the waterhole which was great. The room was spacious, bed and pillows very comfortable. I hate that the mini bar was locked and you had to request that it be unlocked ! We just ordered drinks at the bar and sat at the deck there to watch sunset. All purchases are in USD$ and the staff are very grateful for a tip. The meals here were always amazing (3 days here) and the menu didn't change but it didn't bother us.
Whilst here we went to the boma dinner, was a bit touristy - but fun, everyone doing drumming and dancing.
This property offers a shuttle bus into town, which we used it returns from town on the hour and pick up spots were easy to find.
Whilst in town I can recommend popping into the beautiful colonial - victora falls hotel and having a coffee on the back verandah area overlooking the bridge. We then walked down a bush path to the coffee point cafe to watch the zip lining.
On checkout from this hotel we paid a group gratuity and I hope the staff behind the scenes get a share of it, as the gardens, cleaners and kitchen staff are all doing a top job.
The 1pm vulture feeding/information session was actually so interesting, make sure you go down and sit in the small hut to get up close and hear the full story.

The lodge is an excellent base for any stay in Victoria Falls. Besides the falls themselves, the lodge has a well staffed activity desk with a very good menu of all the essential activities to be found around this location. The lodge itself is a delight, with excellent room, great dining options, and a fantastic bar / deck facing your own watering pool where animals come to drink, and the sunsets are breathtaking.

This lodge is set on a plateau and borders the Zambezi National Park.
Each room is African themed with an en-suite and private viewing deck over looking the National Park.
There are uninterrupted views of game at the waterhole and spectacular sunsets
The breakfast has numerous choices .
From the Lodge there is an hourly free shuttle to take you the 4 kilometers to Victoria Falls.
The only down fall for me was the numerous steps which I found a little difficult.
The best time to go is late March early April as the Victoria Falls is at its greatest

Room Tip: All rooms have a view.
