We had high tea on the terrace at the Victoria Falls Hotel. A lovely lovely setting. There are not enough superlatives to describe the atmosphere and the view. The tea was excellent and local though it was tea bagged. The cakes and sandwiches were fine though nothing remarkable and frankly the scones left a lot to be desired. Of course with plenty strawberry jam and clotted cream and a view one can muddle through !!!! Our waiter was a gem and made the whole experience. He took each of our cameras in turn and took our picture with great good humor. The price was amazingly reasonable as well - four hungry adults shared one tiered 'serving' and we could not finish it all. Tea was bottomless. We had a walk around the hotel grounds and public rooms - just lovely.
