“A Vastly Underated National Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2012

Mana Pools is absolutely a goregous National Park filled with wildlife.During the four days I spent there I saw herds of impala, buffalo, eland, and buffalo. I also saw zebra and nyala. The elephants are some of the largest found in Africa, and are seen frequently. As for predators,I saw lions, hyenas and wild dog. This is one National Park where you won't be surrounded by hordes of other tourist is microbuses. The birdlife is outstanding, and there are literally hundred of hippos and crocodiles in the Zambezi. One truly has the feeling of getting away from it all in Mana Pools.
The only drawback to Mana Pools is that one has to either fly-in or come in a 4x4.
