Great location, a stones throw from the city centre. A little daunting as you first arrive as the hotel is next door to the police station (expect lots of black-clad men wandering around with guns) and there's lots of barbed wire fencing around. The hotel itself is clean and moders, the reception staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and spacious.

The hotel has a bar on-site, with comfortable seating and air con - a great escape from the heat after sight seeing!

A full breakfast is served every morning, and there's a great selection. Wifi is available free of harge and can be accessed in the rooms

Overall a great hotel for seeing Tunis!

Stayed at this hotel recently and renovation work was about to complete in this hotel. Elevators are new, Reception will be with new look and rooms were comfortable with new look. Breakfast was served in the room as the Kitchen was under renovation. The hotel staff was very cooperative, friendly, gentle and English speaking. Wireless internet was free and available in room and lobby. Soon business Centre will also be ready, which was under renovation. Hotel is also not far from Railway station.

Perfect location in the Centre of the City and close to main services like railway station or further services (banks, restaurants, etc...). Very good WiFi connection. In URGENT and desperate need of renovation; rooms at limit of acceptable (excepted for bad/mattress, very comfortable), hygien in the rooms and the common areas, I suppose, a utopia. The Hotel was a "working place" (and nobody informed beforehand!!!!) but starting from the bar/reception area, to "allure", I think, potential guests but rooms old and poor furnished need strong update, too, as well as common areas. Elevator was OK; Garage's noty exhisting (at present, full of materials for building). Bar closed (but drinks available at reception), breakfast disappointing. Such a pity, because location of strategically perfect and personnel very helpful, friendly and gentle!!!!

Very friendly and helpful staff, but I would never go there again. Everything about the hotel is in need of improvement. There are signs that renovation work is taking place.

I was referred to this hotel by a local when I arrived and ended up being very impressed. The staff was friendly and some were excited about speaking English with me, the rooms were clean, wireless internet is available in the lobby and rooms for free, and the air conditioning was wonderful. It was definitely a good midrange hotel (I paid 68 tunisian dinar (TD), or about $40 USD a night) and its central location just one block off the main Avenue Bourguiba makes it a convenient base for exploring Tunis and its environs.

I walked into the Golf to enquire about the price - 70 Dinar a night for a twin-room (payable by credit card) - and took it, rebooking it every morning, as I enjoyed staying there, and ended up being at the hotel for five nights.

The room was big, airy, bright, and the shower was great. TV was multi-channel, and internet was free (wi-fi) though a bit slow in-room, and practically pedestrian at night. Much better speed during the day, and in the lobby but beware of the great internet firewall!

Helpful staff, but poor breakfast and the air-con was difficult to work out. Location is superb - two blocks south of the main Ave Bourguiba, and plenty of amenities nearby.

No guests allowed overnight.
