“A good choice”
Reviewed December 16, 2013

I think I was in one of the not-full-updated rooms, but it was still quite roomy and perfectly clean. As with all of Tunis, the concept of non-smoking areas is a bit fuzzier than you might be used to. The breakfast options were great, if a bit chaotic at times, and the Lebanese food at the Afandi restaurant in the hotel grounds is quite good.

Very nicely done outdoors and lobby areas.

The hotel is OK situated near the centre of Tunis. My room could need a renovation but was still OK. For Tunisian standards the cleanliness was very good but not Western standard. Good breakfast. Restaurant Peppino is not to be recommended.

The valutation given is compared to all the restaurant of the world; if compared to tunisian restaurant, I'll give 5/5 points.
Usually I never eat in Italian Restaurants outside my country, but I'd invited by a camarade of the army, so I'd accepted with gladeness.
The tortellini with mushroom decorated with a fried spaghetti has been a very good experience, accompanied by a nice view magon of 2008.
The place is nice and Antonio (a TV-star in a masterchef-stile local program) polite e well- prepared.

Outdated room, very bad windows that don't properly close, bad insulation from room to room, they charge you the whole stay at check-in time (instead of taking a deposit like anywhere else...) and if you shorten your stay they cannot credit back your credit card but give you cash in local currency instead, which is not convenient at all.

The pool is tiny and really not inviting.

I was also traveling wit some colleagues who happened to have their rooms on the side where the night-club is located, a real nightmare to sleep.

In conclusion, I will not go back to this hotel.

Room Tip: ask for a room in the "quiet" side of the building ...

The hotel is big and not too far from the center of Tunis. You walk from the hotel to the center (approx. 25 min) or take a taxi or the tram, which is 5 min walking from the hotel.

The pool was big enough and cleaned every morning, with free towels. The reception staff were helpful and the breakfast was good.

The room was clean and spacious so no complaints in general.

If I had to go back to Tunis I would probably get a hotel in the center, but that's the only comment. The pool is what made us decide for this hotel. And in August, believe me, you need a pool to fresh up a bit.

This is my first time experience African country I found out that, it a bit dusty. Hotel was perfect. Food quality is there. They served an arabic food during the breakfast. I really their various type of yoghurt. Their service and hotel cleanliness is very good. But there is no convenience store nearby the hotel. I love this hotel and would like to recommend it.

Room Tip: Any room should be fine. Enjoy.
