“NIce Hotel, the worst customer service”
Reviewed December 13, 2013

Agreeing with previous reviews, you can expect a nice budget hotel, fresh, clean....but you will be shocked at the lack of customer service of the staff at reception. Very rude, not a half smile, not a "bonjour" before telling you at 9 am, when you are going for breakfast, " you have to empty your room at 12" ...A shame, unprofessional staff, without a training in the business....Otherwise, if you ignore them, all should be fine. Good location too!

Room Tip: Dont expect a view in the hotel, or you face a busy street, or a side building...I think it is an al...

We had made the booking through internet and found ourselves staying just in the heart of city center in a very quiet small road. However, when you are a few steps away fm the hotel you are in a lively street,Location is great and you have plenty of cafes&restaurants around the hotel.Hotel looks very new and is very clean, too.Rooms are large enough and have all facilities.Price range is very convenient for this part of the city and for this quality of stay.Staff is very kind and informative.Highly recommended.

I really loved the hotel, although it is two stars only but the room is very clean also the bathroom, very modern style, Also, one of its great advantages that it is located in the center of Tunis City nearby every place. I do recommend it for anyone for wants to enjoy his stay in Tunisia

Newly renovated and intelligently designed, this is a clean, comfortable refuge in the middle of a teeming, sometimes chaotic metropolis. Set on a side street, the Tiba is within walking distance of most Tunis restaurants and attractions. The staff is polite and efficient. The breakfast room is clean, pleasant, the coffee good, and selection of breakfast choices quite adequate. Wifi seems available throughout the hotel, and is good and fast. Walls are thin and neighboring room noise could be a problem, bathrooms are small but well-designed.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms facing the street could be a bit noisy, as could rooms near the elevator, but our...

I have to say I did not stay here. I checked it out and would have stayed except for one thing: the desk staff was really really creepy. Maybe it was just that time of the day I went in but I and my companion both found the staff strange and even hostile but mostly creepy. On the hostile part, for example, it took about 10 minutes of arguing to get them to show us a room even though the hotel was basically empty! It wasn't just lazy on their part they were outright angry about having to actually show a potential guest a room!

The staff reception has a hostile attitude especially the son of the owner who is a stubborn kid. He has no respect for the guests. I also add the brown female receptionist who she is impolite and provocative. These tow persons need to be reeducated in the business.

I had to present a 3 day course in Tunis and needed a business hotel close to the venue. I was footing the bill and was hoping not to spend a fortune. The Tiba was perfect. Spotlessly clean, decent breakfast, right in the middle of things, very helpful staff and most importantly, great internet. 5 nights cost me 200 Euros, which was amazing given the quality of the hotel. This is most definitely a business hotel but could also be used a base if visiting Tunis on a budget.
