If you can only see one thing, see this! This is best set of ruins. Interesting as well as fun! Great photo ops! Beautiful views!

These Roman Baths are sited on the Tunisian coast ( the Antonine baths) and are reasonably well preserved. Another masterpiece of Roman engineering. When the Romans discovered how concrete would stick stones together they were off on a building spree. This baths complex is very large and very accessible to the public. This is a shame because in time tourists will damage the area as they clamber over the stones ( and complain about the uneven surfaces).
There is a good information display, covered providing an overview of the complex.
If history interests you, put this on your list.

Even if you aren't as in to history as maybe myself or my fiancee, this is a must do on your holiday in Tunisia. Even for the view of the North African coast alone, this is a beautiful site. Yes, most of Carthage is gone because it's been excavated and rebuilt on over the millenia, but these Antonine baths are a testament to a time long past. Excellently preserved and a part of the world's heritage and culture. The locals should be proud to have this on their doorstep. This is a real must-see. No excuses!

Antonine Baths are a must see on any visit to Carthage. Most tour companies offer great value trips or I guess you could fly solo? A tour guide (thank you Adel from Thomson / First Choice) will make these places come alive for you. Loads of Carthaginian stuff to see too in this area worth a day out of any vacation.
