My husband and I visited Asanja camp in October- we stayed for 3 nights. Our tour operator said we would enjoy a tented safari- and it exceeded all our expectations!! The camp is in a great location and just the view is amazing! The staff looked after us so well we didnt want to leave- absuolute luxury. Our tent had fabulous red drapes, a large wooded and very comfortable bed, flushable toilet at the back , and shower. Our Masai brought us a tray of tea with our wake up call in the morning, brought hot water for our shower, escorted us to and from the tent at night to the main dining area, turned down our bed, placing a hot water bottle, and red rose with a welcome note on the sheets. The food was great- as were the packed picnic lunches. I would love to go back tomorrow as the staff made us so welcome. Jo Gower

We spent 2 nights at this camp and it was a wonderful tented camp experience. You get a great feeling of being in the middle of the Serengeti and listening to the animals in the distance. We stayed with our 3 year old son and he had a great time chatting with the staff. The luxury tents were extremely comfortable, the service level was fantastic and the food great. We would love to stay there again in the future.

I was the team lead in organizing this trip for a group of 11 of or company employees, from 6 different countries that had never met each other before. The team at Asanja Africa was able to accommodate all of our requests and the entire experience was such a joy. Sitting around the campfire at night, in the Serengeti was priceless. The tents, showers, and meals could not have been more perfect. I highly recommend it, even if you're not much of a camping-type person.

We stayed at this camp in July 2012 and had the most amazing time. This camp is literally in the middle of action, with some of our best game sightings happening as we drove to and from their location. The staff saw to our every need and the food was incredible each and every night. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening campfires with drinks and appetizers, and the rooms were above and beyond anything you'd expect to find in such a remote location. I would definitely recommend this camp to anyone who is looking for a once in a lifetime African experience. We are still talking about it 6 months later.

We went on sept 2012, great comfort at the rooms which are tents with great beds, toilet and showers as in an main city, in the morning a massai warrior from the crew came to the tent with hot water for the shower which he put in an upper recipiento so when you open the shower you would find hot water

food was great, in the middle of the jungle they served us some delicious dishes as a 5 star hotel, incluisively you could have red or white wine as part of the menu

The staff is incredible they are always making you feel comfortable, attending anything you could need

I surely recommend it, is a great experience sleeping near the animals and in the morning watching them walking not as far as 500 meters from the hotel, we saw gacels, elephants, leopards very very near to the hotel, and at night we heard lions and elephants very near!!!!

Asanja Africa was one of the tented camps we stayed at during our safari to Tanzania. We had an absolutely great time from the food to the wilderness that surrounds the camp.. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The tents were detailed and every comfort was kept in mind. Despite being completely out in the wild we felt safe and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you Asanja for the best memories of our time in Tanzania.

Ps: I get very hungry every time I think of rashidi's delicious food :D

Room Tip: Every tent has a unique Masaai theme to it
