we stayed there 2 nights (before and after the safari) and must admit that initially we expected less. Rooms are nice and clean, bathrooms are also good (warm water available). Breakfast is allright - especially after budget accomodation on safari :-) - there is Coffe, Tea, Juice (this could be better), fruits, sausage, beans, eggs, pancackes, jam, butter - open from 6.30
People in the hotel speak english and are rather helpfull -the security guy accomponied us to the ferry in the morning and they also let us use their phone for free to call tour operators and hotels).
The city hotel is also located very close to the ferry (5 min fast walking).
Some minor critics - rooms are sometimes loud (but only because of a huge construction site infront of the hotel, and the muezin screaming like hell in the evening and at 5 in the morning for about 3 minutes (we were there during ramadan) - but this is not really hotels fault). They also do not have an restaurant, but you can order a very delicios indian food - which comes pretty fast. Yea and there are not flexible to serve breakfast earlier - because the staff is coming from outside the town and if you have luck you can have it at 6.15.
But all in all we were very satisfied and would reccomend to travelers stay there.More
