Stayed here, one night in the main hotel and other nights in the Seacliff court rooms.

The hotel room, cost more than a 5 star hotel in Dubai and the hotel in Dubai was really 5 star. The rooms are clean, but with the plug sockets hanging off the walls and the hair-dryer due to poor wiring came on and off when using , its was wired into the table lamp!

The shampoo I am sure was watered down and the container seemed a little old as the hotel logo had worn off.

free WiFi slow and service on and off.

The hotel rooms in the sea cliff shopping area were better and a lot cheaper. Still the same issues with the wiring and the bathroom was very dark with only one very small window.

The staff do make up for the rooms and the hotel should be pleased they have great staff as I am sure they compensate for the deteriorating hotel rooms.

I had an issue with some items going missing from my room, although I have followed up with the hotel little has been followed up and communication has now seemed to have stopped. This was during another stay at the hotel earlier in the year and with this in mind, I would not let the cleaning staff into my room when not present

Te hotel has a great location just a shame its not keeping up its standards.

Great location, fantastic view of the Sea, spacious rooms, decent breakfast with great settings, helpful and pleasant staff. Wifi fast and free.

Pity was on a business trip and not holiday. Would surely like to spend a few days with family here.

Casino good except they are too slow and take a lot of time in each shuffle.

Room Tip: Try for the Sea facing room.

My first visit to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania was April 12- April 19, 2013 and I was fortunate enough to stay in the Sea Cliff hotel. My room was very clean and I had a wonderful view of the pool and beautiful Indian Ocean.
Every hotel worker from the gardeners to the wait staff to the door men were polite, friendly and professional. The breakfast was wonderful and the restaurants in the hotel served excellent food.
If I ever return to Dar es Salaam I will stay at the Sea Cliff Hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone going to Dar es Salaam.

It is true indeed, our rooms are beautiful & tastefully done, our priority is to keep our rooms clean to the satisfaction of our guests. Most of our rooms have breathtaking views to the ocean ( for we are situated right next/on the shores of the Indian ocean) .Not to mention, two restaurants - Alcove and the Karambezi all suited to your needs.

Thank you for choosing our hotel as your choice of destination, we are all looking forward to welcome you during your next stay in Dar es Salaam.

Great, helpful staff. Beautiful location overlooking the Indian Ocean. Sea Cliff Hotel is located on a relatively quiet peninsula a bit outside the city center -- but that's not a bad thing. The hotel has a few restaurant options, with pretty good food, including a great, included breakfast.

I stayed here for a full 7 days while in Dar on Business, which means I got plenty of time to evaluate it on its various merits. In an attempt to not be to long winded, I will say the service is fantastic, rooms are very nice, pool and view is amazing, and food is very good. The ‘light meals’ off the menu were not so good, however the main courses were all fantastic, as were the starters. Try the King Prawns for a main, for the tempura prawns as a starter! Hotel location is also nice, as its away from the city center, and in a ‘rich’, safe area.

By African standards this is an amazing hotels, and even by western standards, this is a very good hotel.

I would certainly recommend this hotel for all types of travelers.

Room Tip: pay for an upgrade to an Executive room, well worth it!!
