The casual, seaside Mediterranean atmosphere, reflects also on our cooking style – fresh, healthy, delicious. The seafood is caught daily and cooked to order. If you are wanting a light meal of a simple grilled fish and salad or something more decadent, like our signature King’s Platter, we will cater for all your needs. And our specials don’t stop at seafood – we are famous for our flame-grilled Portuguese Chicken and Steak Algarve. So come, sit back and enjoy the experience!

“Lovely Fresh Seafood and Nice Atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2014

I arrived rather late in the evening at this open air first floor restaurant, but was warmly welcomed by the staff.
There was an excellent selection on the menu, but I rather boringly picked the English and chips! However, it was an excellent choice as the fish was fresh, moist and succulent and the chips well cooked.
The atmosphere was pleasantly simple with candles on the tables and friendly, helpful staff. One if my friends had the jumbo prawns and another the Greek calamari and both thoroughly enjoyed them.
Although a bit pricy for Dar, I shall definitely come again to sample some of the other dishes.

“Nice place”

Great food right in the middle of the Sea Cliff village. Took a while for food to arrive though but when it did, was worth the wait.

“Off day, off seafood?”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2013

I sincerely hope this was an off day, as this restaurant could have so much going for it however, my wife and I will be avoiding it.

The platter for two (crayfish, calamari and lobster) was presented with an obviously off odour which everyone at our table noticed immediately. The lobster smelled of something dead and decaying.

It was graciously replaced by the waiter with a less foul-smelling lobster, but we were baffled at how the smell could have been missed in the first place.

Overall, the meal was bland and felt half-hearted. Nothing seemed seasoned though the salad dressing was nice. The wait staff however was quite attentive to our needs and from our observation they seemed to be very good with young children.
