The Moroccan food was tasty, the service excellent, the musician pleasant to listen to, the decor very beautiful in typical style. The waiter all gave us a bonus tour of the hotel top terrace with its spectacular view.

It’s a beautiful, traditional Moroccan style restaurant with good food. The service is impeccable and there’s life traditional music played at a calming level. The terrace is worth a visit too. It’s not expensive to European standard even it can’t be classified has low budget.

Very elegant and stylish little palace. A restored Riad and has been refitted sesitively to its age. Top quality refurb. Premises are just lovely. But i didn't really understand why they were in the cheap 3 course tourist meal market ???- actually not that cheap for what you get ! Two set 3 course menus at €22 and €25 offering very average fayre. - menus were remarkably similar too but with a tagine on the more expensive option. It just doesnt strike me as a salad/ soup and creme caramel kind of place- ?!

Palais Zaria is certainly the place to eat and most probably to stay as well. Very clean and professional. We had a special lunch there, the food and service were fantastic. Attention to detail and the quality of the food fantastic. After 6 weeks travelling around Morocco we found Zahia to be a great place for our last meal.

The restaurant is first rate. The ambience is beautiful and the staff is top of the line. They want you to have an excellent experience.
I'm a meat, potatoes and green salad type of person. I do/have eat(en) dishes from all seven (7) continents. Moroccan food likes to mix everything together & pile on couscous.
The restaurant here is Hadja zahia. I was invited to lunch here as a guest of my hotel to eat couscous (hate couscous), I declined they insisted. I went and looked over the menu.
While looking over the menu they brought warm bread, similar to American corn bread (no butter) and a plate of olives. Sent olives back, hated olives as a child hate them more as an adult. The menu is not my type of restaurant. Meat, potatoes, green salads.
I settled on chicken bastilla a Morocco's rendition of a savory pie. It was traditionally made with pigeons. No pigeons were on the menu. The chicken was cooked with saffron, ginger, pepper and cinnamon, then layered within a crispy pastry with an herb-laden omelet and and fried almonds scented with orange flower water. It was sweet & dry.
