If you fancy a change from the usual tagine or cous cous and you like Thai food this a great place. Its easy to find, just of The main Mohd V road although it can be hard to find a parking space if you bring a car. The walls are a lush red colour decorated with some traditional Thai pieces of art and the tables have crisp white linen tablecloths. the tables are seperated by screens so you can have some privacy if you like and at the back of the restaurant is a larger dimly lit area for the romantics or large groups. I have eaten here several times now and have to say i have never been disappointed with the quality of food. They have an extensive menu including Thai red and green curry, (70-90MAD) Thai noodles, Tom Yam soups (60MAD) stir fry chicken, beef or shrimp dishes including rice (60-80MAD)several vegetarian dishes. They have a great tourist menu for lunch which includes a choice of starters and a choice of main dishes for (95MAD). The staff are really friendly and speak english, also willing to take the time to explain the menu and help you out. The chefs are from Thailand and you can tell from the presentation of the food which is superb..there are always intricately carved flowers created from carrots or some other vegetable decorating your plates. They also do a Thai fondue for two or more people where you can choose the type of meat or fish you want and cook it in the broth/ soup at your table..i havent tried this yet so cant comment on it. They have a good selection of alcoholic drinks too including wines.... And they also deliver!!!!! what more could you want. For me the best thing about Tom Yam is the presentation and quality of the food and the worst thing would have to be that one visit is never enough!
