Bert's is a franchise of the brand in Paris - you will also find Berts in several places in Paris as well as Orly for example - they also have a new café in Marrakech. The product in Rabat follows those in France and, in comparison to most local cafés, you must pay for your compsumption at the food counter before taking your purchases to your table. There is no waiter service apart from clearing tables. There is free WiFi connection and the café is frequented by all ages, especially the young in the evenings - a bit of a trendy place to meet and to be seen. The customer filter is based on the prices and is probably the most expensive coffee shop in the area. There is a good selection of sandwiches and cake-pastries and the café is open all day until late evening.
The down side is that if you are a non-smoker, it can be annoying because the interior can get quite "thick" in the evenings. The terrace is nice but of course, only in summer.
As a last positive note, Bert's is open all day during the month of Ramadan.
