Near to the rail station. Small but great atmosphere and excellent food. Background local music and the staff join in. A god night out

One of the most fun places for genuine Moroccan food in Rabat. Super centrally located (right behind the Hotel Balima across from the Parliament), rather small, but there are usually one or two places left. Serves great tajine and other Moroccan specialties and - unusual for a purely Moroccan restaurant - also serves alcoholic beverages. Live music performed most nights (a bit later in the evening) by a one man band, but frequently the waiter join in when things are not hectic. [Ok, that sounded perhaps scaring - it's usually very nice! ;-]

Everything you could want in a Moroccan restaurant. Good food, wine, beautiful decor, soft traditional music, excellent but unobstrusive service, and located just around the corner from the Hotel Balima. I'll recommend it to everyone visiting Rabat.

This is by far the best targine in Rabat...the manager is great and at night he and the staff perform....the eggplant as a starter is outstanding followed by the lamb Targine

No, they do not have heavenly couscous. Me and my friend decided to try this place because our guidebook suggested it and claimed it had 'heavenly couscous' and 'succulent tajines.' The couscous was 80dh and not nearly as good as anything we had in Fes for half the price. I was sorely disappointed by the advice I received on that. However, my friends lamb tajine was the best she's had since we came to morocco and was pleased to see that it was actually lamb she was eating and not beef (even though some will tell you it's lamb). I wouldn't come here for couscous again but if you like tajine then it sounds like a sure bet!
