“Pricey, decent quality, live music”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

This is the classic riad restaurant where you take your parents or your out of town guests for a classic "Moroccan" experience. Expensive, but good quality, and won't cause your out-of-town guests "problems" like some restaurants in Morocco. Hard to fine, but a guy with a lantern will find you and take you.

“Very tender tasty meat, nice setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

I went through a few reviews. Our experience was positive. Nice setting, service was friendly, no smokers and our food was good. I had a skewer and the meat was very tender and very tasty.

“Traditional restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

Beautiful place with great food. Because it's located in the Medina and less easy to find a guide with a lantern will bring you there.

“tourist trap”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

The entrance to the restaurant was like a fairy tale: an old man with a lamp guided us through the alleys of the old medina to Dinarjat. The restaurant is wonderful decorated. There was ancient live music.
We were helped by a kind waiter with holes and stains on his suit and a grim looking waitress who was more interested in her iphone than us. We found the food related to the price below average. So far, so good.
On our bill the price was raised by 10% VAT. We travelled during almost 4 weeks through Morocco and never had this happened as consumer prices should always be including VAT.
Avoid this place.
