We went to Dinarjat on a weekday evening with a friend whose been there before, otherwise, we would have never found the place! It's located in the Madina, down three separate alleys. Walking there at night was at first a little spooky, but no one bothered us. At first I thought it was closed, there was no life outside, nothing except a small "best restaurant" sign to even indicate there was something inside. We knocked and the door was opened. Inside a beautiful atmosphere, typical Moroccan decour, a fountain in the middle. We sat near the fireplace and the ambiance was perfect. Don't try to order any fancy drinks, they don't know what they are or don't have the ingredients, otherwise the bar was well stocked. It took a little while to get service, but we did not mind as we were enjoying our time. When the food came the portions were big, and the taste was very good. In the end it was pricey, but not horrible. Would definitely go there again.

Our Riad host, Fred of Riad Marhaba recommended dinner at Dinarjat and we were so glad we took his advice. This was, no doubt, our most impressive Moroccan meal experience from the moment we arrived by having to ring the bell at the front door to having our hands rinsed ceremoniously with rosewater before we had a chance to look at the menu. The interior decor is just what you might expect from 1001 Arabian Nights. We had a private table near one of the two fireplaces and the service was superb. The meal was fantastic with a first course of a variety of small plates of Moroccan salads to the chicken tagine and the fruit for dessert. As Fred said: "Don't miss the bathroom!"
