We loved the atmosphere and serenity of this area. The buildings and the history it exudes. Storks abound on the tops of walls everywhere you look. A photograghers paradise. Nice gardens and well kept and looked after

lovely ruins and gardens at the edge of Rabat. Pleasant atmosphere and also good birdwatching.
Rabat,s climate is more pleasant in summer compared to inland heat.
The city is well kept and cleaner than inland cities

I was looking forward to visiting Chellah and was not disappointed. From the overview at the entrance of the site to the clacking storks nesting throughout the site, there were plenty of photo opportunities. Interesting mix of Roman and Islamic ruins.

Possible to take dramatic pictures of walls. Large birds were present, which add interest to the photos. Not a long walk either and relatively few steps.
