The mausoleum occupies the same location as Hassan Tower and mosque so the setting is exceptional. Great photo ops of beautiful building and very cooperative and photo-friendly guards.

Quite a beautiful place, harbors some nice examples of Moroccan craftsmanship. Also this is one of the two mausoleums in morocco open to non-Muslims. Good for a quick visit and makes for some nice pictures.

We went to both the Hassan tower and the mausoleum - a definite must visit while in Rabat. Good place for photo opportunity and it is maintained very well. There are guards who are willing to take pictures with you - don't expect any smile though.

You can easily spend at least an hour between the mausoleum and the Hassan tower. It is hard to take pictures inside of the mausoleum but the details inside is one of the most beautiful work I've seen in morocco. Amazing tile and carving work. And afterwards you can spend time playing around with the columns at the grounds outside by the Hassan tower.
