Meknes medina is still untouched by mass tourism and I think this is what makes it such an interesting place to stop for a few days. Most tour group just visit the main square and move on to something else. This means that apart from one or two streets, the medina can still give you that feeling of really being in a commercially active centre. Don't miss the metalwork section and the damscene decorators. Take a walk straight through the medina from Bab Mansour to Bab Berdain and enjoy the great view onto the Zerhoun mountains.
