This Riad has four or five rooms, and feels like home. Better than home. The rooms are in good shape, and quite clean. Take a couple of flights of stairs up to the roof terrace, take a dip in the small pool and enjoy the view.
Amina and her niece little Amina are what really make this place special; charming, interested, friendly and helpful. wow.
Amina is an excellent cook. As a matter of fact, two people in the Medina told us unprompted that she is the best cook in Meknes. Therefore we both ate here and took cooking lessons from her. The cooking lessons consisted of helping prepare the evening meal in their kitchen. It was lots of fun and delicious.
Amina's cat Mimi is close to having kittens and provides cuddly entertainment in the central patio/dining area.
The staff are more than trustworthy, they feel like family. If you want to lock your room anyway, use the padlock; they can't open it either.
If you are looking for a place to stay that will make you happy, this is it.
