Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as travelling to and from Meknes by train and station only few minutes walk away. Actually consider it to be much better option to staying in riads of medina. Generally throughout hotel there is nothing that much to complain about and it is family owned and run. The cleanliness was average, but maintenance like most Moroccan hotels was not a priority. Had reasonable size reception, with lounge and bar. Staff were efficient and hotel well managed. Was staying single standard but given double room which was comfortable but basic.. Reasonable bathroom with good towels, soap and toilet tissue, but yes the tile grouting was best overlooked. Regular supply of hot water, but no sink plug again. Lift in hotel was effective. Stayed HB as rates so reasonable. Dining room fine and breakfast ok, but fairly basic. Limited choice for dinner and not marvellous but couldn't complain for price. Not many guests staying early March, but appeared to be mix of Moroccan people travelling for their company and visitors seeking more budget accommodation.
In summary I would suggest this is not a bad hotel to stay in at their reasonable rates, and there are few hotels in Meknes at the higher end. However, you will be most aware at Bab Mansour that not 4* standards.
