This riad is in a very good position for travel but as a Riad the service was not what we would have expected from a smaller hotel. The staff could have been much friendlier and more helpful. The rooms are fine but seem tired now and maybe it needs a little overhaul. The pool/fountain in the middle of the hotel was broken and the water murky which didn't help with the overall first impression.
When we came to leave at 7.30 in the morning there was no one to take payment and the kitchen staff said we must walk to the bank in town to get money. As we had to a catch a train we did not have time for this. They knew we were leaving early in the morning because we told them but they did not make arrangements the night before for payment.More
