“Impressive”
Reviewed June 27, 2014

A beautifully renovated old house holds a stylish restaurant which offers the best food we ate in Morocco - which was matched by courteous and efficient service. The roof seems to be the place to be albeit no view: that seems to be filled up first before diners are seated inside although there would be no disadvantage in sitting indoors. Two distinct menus (printed on different sides of a menu car) offer "Western" and "Arabic" dishes but, of course, one can mix-and-match. Good wine list - the locally produced Medallion rose was well worth the money: as liquor is of limited availability in Morocco it is understandable that prices are relatively high. The food, though, is exceptional value for money. A memorable evening.

“Terrible service with average food”
Reviewed June 27, 2014 via mobile

We experienced quite possibly the worst service we have ever encountered by a so called fine dining establishment. The waiting staff were rude, slow and unresponsive to our needs. We have never walked out on a restaurant and this is the first time we have done so after we ordered our starters. Avoid at all costs and visit the night markets of Marrakech. Much better service and atmosphere.

“Evening on the roof.”
Reviewed June 27, 2014

After reading many of the varied reviews we decided to take a chance and it was a very good decision. A beautiful evening on the rooftop restaurant proved to be a good choice.
No problems with either service or the speed or quality of food as many others seem to have encountered. Food was well presented and quite excellent and the wine was not over priced but very good.
Price was very reasonable for such a good evening.
No problems with taxi even though it is a little out of the way and a porter waits for taxis whether having a reservation or not.

“Very nice”
Reviewed June 27, 2014

The food was lovely food, the staff a little surly, and quite expensive for Marrakech. The atmosphere on the roof terrace was relaxed and it was nicely decorated

“Lovely food in romantic atmosphere”
Reviewed June 27, 2014

We found the roof terrace beautiful and it was very romantic and lit up when it got dark.
There were a lot of staff who were very attentive.
The food was really good, we had lovely tagines and they came with cous cous to the side which was nice and doesn't always happen
the puddings were also lovely.
You can choose between Moroccan or French food or mix it up.
Not that cheap but good value.
