“Lovely Up-Market Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013 via mobile

My partner and I visited this restaurant after it was recommended by another guest at our Riad and it was wonderful!

In Marrakech many places are hard to find due to the many alleyways and streets however this was very easy to find due to it being well signposted & lit up outside.

Once inside it was fantastically decorated and the staff showed us to a table on the 1st floor. The music was great and we found the staff to be polite and very prompt in serving us. Reading previous reviews on trip advisor suggesting that staff were unhelpful and arrogant made us wonder if this place was a little pretenious but we didnt find that at all on our visit.

The food was fantastic but slightly on the expensive side compared to some other restaurants however they do have a large alcohol selection which is rare in Marrakech to get any alcohol at all.

Overall lovely restaurant : )

“Just lovely”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

Great food, great ambience and great cocktails and/or wine. I would recommend it. We were told that the balcony was the place to dine but unfortuantely it had been raining in the morning so it was closed.

“Only candle atmosphere”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

It is supposed to be one of the "cool romantic restaurants" in Marrakech…I did not enjoy it. The candle atmosphere is nice but the service is not top-notch and the waiters are too in a hurry to care about you. The food is ok, but nothing special considering how much you will pay…It did not live up to my expectations at all!!!

“Lovely ambience, good food, poor service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

This place could be great if the staff would buck their ideas up. Really nice building, and the food is decent if not earth shattering (can recommend the beef tagine and sweet lamb couscous), but the staff are just indifferent...our waitress spent most of the evening ignoring us, on the phone, and chewing gum, then when we did get served it certainly wasn't with a smile. They clearly don't want to be there. We went early at 7.15pm after reading reviews of service here, thinking it would be less busy and we might get better service..it probably worked to a degree as it did get busier later.

“Very friendly staff”

Very relaxing place and great to get away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. Incredibly helpful and polite staff.
