Our group loved visiting the Amal Center's Cooking Class! Not only was the food absolutely amazing, but we got to learn how to cook it in a fun open atmosphere that allowed us to learn about Marrakech from some of the women that work in the center. We got to hear about their struggles and hear how much this organization means to them. The Amal Center is a non-profit organization that helps to fund a 6-month training program for traditionally disadvantaged women (victims of divorce, abuse, or just handicaps.) Through this program they are helped back on their feet by learning skills valued in the food service industry. By choosing to visit and take their cooking class, you are helping to empower the women of Marrakech!
