“Great food, little expensive but worth it”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

The guy at our hotel recommended this restaurant. Really great introduction to Marrakesh for or first night here. The atmosphere is great, the decor amazing. The food was good, we had shoulder of lamb for two and it was huge meal. Light entertainment with dancers was also a plus. Worth a visit unless you are travelling on a right budget.

“A Hidden Gem”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2013

I ate here with a few friends on a very hot afternoon and it was lovely. Amazing food, great service and a beautiful view overlooking a very busy road across from the Saadian tombs. I would recommend. One quirky thing that happened. The electricity went out and I had to go to the bathroom with a candle. It all worked out and made for a great story! I have lots more Moroccan stories on my blog. lildnyc.blogspot.com

“Great Atmosphere, good food, slow service, fun night!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 12, 2013

This is a fun place with Belly Dancers and Women with Candles on their head. We were warned about the slow service, but everything else made up for it. This is a must do on your list of restaurants in Marrakech.

“Unexpectedly nice surprise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 2, 2013

My wife and I ate here one evening when (unusually for us) we had not planned ahead using TA. Apart from the two small Riads we ate in, this was our best restaurant meal in Marrakech, with better food than in either Le Foundouk or Al Fassia Aguedal – which were both more expensive.

If we had read the TA reviews, we probably would never have eaten here. However, We are glad we did and found the service to be friendly and attentive, the food of a good quality and the entertainment (unexpected for us) fun and not intrusive.

We started our evening with some drinks on the upstairs terrace overlooking the square (Place Bab M’la – I think) watching the often chaotic traffic. All in all, Le Tangia was a very nice surprise
