“Great experience with great people”
Reviewed July 14, 2014

My family and I took the 4 day tour from Marrakech to Fez crossing the Atlas mountains and, sleeping one night in the Sahara dessert and other fantastic hotels.
Morocco Caravan Tours is a fantastic and professional tour company, which has demonstrated flexibility and customer orientation in many stages of our trip. We customized our own trip on the fly. The high expentancies and exigencies of my family have always been satisfied with the smile and flexible mind from Hamza, Jammal, and Ahmed.
On my next trip to Morocco I will travel again with them.

“Great tour!”
Reviewed June 7, 2014

Ahmed was our guide for a fantastic Atlas Mountain Day tour. We faced a long drive to the mountains, but at no point were we tired or bored. There were plenty of stops at places of interest - "break, photo!" - and Ahmed answered all our questions with in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm, especially about the Berber people, their history and customs. Throughout the trip our driver Abdul knew the roads like the back of his hand, and we felt completely safe with him at the wheel. The 4x4 was a pleasant place to be on a long journey. The visit to the Berber village was great, a real eye-opener, the camel ride one I'll never forget and we bought some local souvenirs including a fantastic carpet!

We took the Atlas Mountain Day tour with Ahmed. It was fantastic! The views were diverse, breathtaking and unexpected. Ahmed was very informative and answered all questions. We were able to buy authentic souvenirs, hop on a camel, see spectacular views, actual Berber village and even stopped in a home for a mint tea and traditional bread. We were high in the mountains for a traditional lunch as well. We had no idea that Morrocco had so much to offer. Hats off to Ahmed! - you may see this on testimonials as well but every word is true!!

We went on the Essaouira day trip with Ahmed and had the best day of our holiday. The drive from Marrakech to Essaoira was just under 3 hours but didn't feel like it at all.
We stopped on the way for breakfast and then again to see the goats in the trees - amazing - and finally above Essaouira to take photos looking down over the town.
Once we arrived into Essaouira we had time to wander around the souks, which are so much more relaxed than the souks in Marrakech, before heading to the fantastic viewpoint of La Skala for wonderful views.
We walked to the fishing port and saw the fishing boats coming in with the catch of the day too.
There are many places to eat but Ahmed took us to a fish market where you can buy fresh fish which is then cooked for you and you get to sit in a corner with the fish you have just bought cooked and served to you for a small cost. Wonderful!
We then had time to wander along the beach - a glorious expanse of sand with wind and kite surfing there if you want it, and even time for a henna tattoo on the way back!
A really amazing day in a beautiful city that is so different to Marrakech. You really do have to go and Ahmed made it extra special for us.
Thanks Ahmed, when we are in Morocco again we will definitely be joining you on your other tours. You are a star!
