Our driver/guide took us here to show me the animals because he thought I'm a city slicker which he is right. The farm lodge is up the hill and about 50 minutes from the city, it's a huge place complete with everything you ever need in one place. Rooms are nice and big, a bit dark because they use solar system for all their lights but there are many windows. There were some guests, a family enjoying themselves by a small pool.
They have chickens, turkeys, cows, horses, lamps, sheep, oh they even have pigs and a peacock landed on the roof when we were in the chicken coop.
Then trees full of fruit, growing vegetables, lots of green shades to escape the scorching sun.
If you want to escape and relax with nature then this is a place; oh, they do have wifi hihihihihihi!!!!!!

We stopped in for a couple of hours and were Hooked. The place is very remote has beautiful wild location. It has a running farm with all aspects you can meet all the animals. The rooms look lovely

There is a very nice swimming pool.

I think it would be a very nice place for a super relaxing break with the family.

Lovely people and place.

I don`t get it fellow readers....why isn`t this place rated 10 times higher than it is??? I just got home , and couldn`t wait to write a few words.....
The experience was second to none....
Lets start with the owner, and staff.....couldn`t have been any better or more friendly and accomodating....It was like staying with family!!! By no means, was it anything else...I`m done with the corporate ways.
The small riad atmosphere, also made it possible to interact with the few other guests that were also enjoying their stay. The food was awesome, made daily by the staff....hey...we even took a cooking class that Robert (the owner arranged) for us, with his cook. She took us to the market where we bought everything from the spices, the fruit, meats ...down to the charcoal from the vendor to use to heat the tangine. OK, everybody also talked about the farm...YES...we went there too....and I`d also recommend it to others....it`s a whole nother world and experience.....The location of the riad is in the heart Medina....and that`s why we went to Marrakech...to experience it..... Yes, it`s not a 4 Seasons or the Ritz...and yes, it takes a bit to not be location challenged and get your bearings in the Medina and the Souks.....but come-on people...live it!
The price of our stay was unheard of.....AND ...it included breakfast everyday (as well as airport pick up and drop off).....
Our 8 nites cost 1/2 of what 1 ...yes 1 nite on other stays...
Nothing less than 5 Stars...and will highly recommend to all!...
Thanks again Robert, Carol, Fatima and staff

The hotel is located in a quiet little street inside the medina, which is usually full of noises. The
courtyard of the hotel is a nice place to read, take a rest from the movement of the medina...
The bedrooms are very clean and comfortable and the bathrooms very big. It has a beautiful terrace where the good and home-made breakfast is served. The staff is nice and ready to help.

Dar Touyir is a very special hotel. Hidden away in the Medina at Marrakesh, peaceful, serving delicious food. The sunny terrace, with plenty of shade, was a joy. The staff were so kind and helpful, Fatima replied to all my emails promptly and patiently, and Robert, the owner, is a mine of information about Morocco. We visited the farm as well, and had a wonderful lunch. If we were to return to Marrakesh we would definitely stay at Dar Touyir again.

Room Tip: Our rooms were on the first floor, overlooking the courtyard. Cool and quiet.

Very quaint and very quiet! Incredibly comfortable beds! Very clean. The staff was friendly and breakfast on the roof was charming. Good location in the old city, BUT do not recommend walking around late at night in this area (the same as with many Riads tucked in the small twists and turns of the old streets).
