Well maintained, funded by multi-national companies, free and shady this quiet park is a good breathing space for half an hour before (or after) tackling the square and souks. No real facilities but a loo and ice cream sellers - at your own risk, they are just in cool bags - and a few blokes who will chat and just want 10 Dirhams or a couple of fags as payment. You don't have to but chatting to someone who lives there can be fun. It runs parallel to Avenue Mohammad the fifth, the main drag, so either way you are heading somewhere as well as walking in a nice park.
