Riad Abaka was just a seven minute walk to the main square of Marrakech.. We originally tried to get into the Riad Magellan but it was full and Abaka is managed by the same company so we took it. In retrospect we should have looked around for a more upscale riad. The breakfast was good. The room was comfortable with lots of lamps. The bathroom was very dark, the shower was like a cement pit and the latch on the bathroom door did not close and was not repaired even after we asked. Also the center court was very close to all the rooms and when it was full of people talking it was quite noisy.. My wife's glasses were stolen in the souk and when we tried to find an optometrist to make a new pair, the management had no clue how to find one. I was told I had to go to an Dr. first. By doing my own search, I found one within walking distance and had reading glasses made in one day.
