“A little paradise”

We stayed at the Riad for 3 nights and it couldn't have been bettered.
Very close to the main square and all the cultural attractions and yet quiet and calm within the walls. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was amazing - the evening menu was typical Moroccan- beautifully cooked with local ingredients - delicious!! The roof terrace was a great place to watch the sun go down with a beer. I also had an oriental massage in the spa which was excellent.

Room Tip: All the rooms were great but you may want one on the first floor if you sleep lightly as breakfast i...

This was our second visit to Marrakech and Riad Monceau was a great place to stay, it ticks all the boxes. The location is superb it is only metres away from Jamaa el Fna and the souks. The staff are all very friendly and polite. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the cooking course was great fun. We have already recommended it to friends and hope to go back.

A beautiful hotel and rooms, and an oasis of calm and tranquility a very short walk away (less than 2 minutes) from the bustling main square. We travelled in February so the temperature did drop overnight, and we did experience some problems with the heating in the room which could have been managed by the hotel a bit better, although generally the staff were very helpful and responsive. Also the cost of the transfer service arranged by the hotel to the airport was a bit higher than I would have expected.

Room Tip: We had a ground floor room which was a it noisy in the morning as we could constantly hear staff cle...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this riad. An oasis of tranquility, amazingly quiet and peaceful given the hussle and bussle on the streets outside.

We stayed in the pacha suite - WOW!!! it is huge and the jacuzzi in the bathroom is quite something. The room is perfectly decorated with a lot of attention to detail - as is the rest of the riad.

We ate in the restaurant too, real authentic morrocan food.

Would be certain to recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in a riad in Marrakech.

Location was perfect....minutes to the square and surprisingly the location of the hotel was extremely quiet. Hotel felt like a 5 star boutique hotel and staff offered superior service and accommodating in everyday. I felt like they actually cared about every minute of our stay and felt like we have known each other for years. Chief amazing dishes forced me to take a cooking class for the first time in my life and she made it so easy.....it was and I also purchased her amazing book.....Highly Recommend:)

Absolute gem of a hotel with personal service from all staff at all times. We were made to feel very welcome indeed and were upgraded on arrival to a superior room which was fabulous. The hotel food is superb and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel spa treatment was excellent as was the cookery school which my husband attended one morning. The hotel is a 2 min stroll to the main square and in a perfect location for all sights. We would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone.

I don't normally write reviews straight away but I feel compelled to after the amazing morning/afternoon we spent here. We are staying in Marrakech for a week and asked our Riad if they had some things they would recommend doing. Along with some touristy stuff the advised that we take a cooking class. Le Riad Moneceau is located near the central market down a very narrow alley way, but once you get inside the space is huge. To cut a long story short there were 8 of us (my friend and I and a group of 6 girls) we had a choice of making chicken or lamb tagine nd 2 starters. This was under the supervision of the head chef, who happens to be a local celebrity. We went through everything from how to prepare the meat, add spices and when to check the tagine. After we had prepped, got to know the group and put he food on the heat we were guided to a private dining room where we were served our food. We also had a choice of wine and soft drinks. The price for this was 450 Dirham, so about £40 and it started at 1030 and finished at 3. This was a great way to spend an afternoon and get out of the sun. This is great as a couples treat, friends or vn on your own. I would highly recommend and will definitely be doing this again. Happy travels :)
