This is the perfect place to stay in Marrakesh and we would recommend it to anyone !

The Hosts Giorgina and Massimo are warm , friendly and welcoming . We were served with Mint tea and Biscuits on arrival and treated to a helpful , entertaining and informative conversation with Massimo before being shown to our beautiful rooms.

Our three course meal at the Riad on our first night was the best we had during our time in Marrakesh and the Breakfasts were lovely .

The staff were friendly, the Riad was spotlessly clean. My guess would be that the owners have thought about what they would want as an experience and have made sure that is what they deliver
We were asked on check out for any helpful comments or criticisms , but we found it impossible to find any! Giorgina, Massimo and their staff made our visit to Marrakesh.

Giorgina and Massimo are the perfect hosts and have created an unbeatable atmosphere in the middle of a bustling city. It all began by picking us up at the parking lot and taking us to the riad... Massimo came personally, armed with an umbrella as it was raining. Giorgina spent an hour with us - over a map and mint tea! And then they helped us get a train ticket to our next destination. Truly went above and beyond. The riad itself is so gorgeous and really a great refuge from the Medina when you need a break. Highly recommend this place. Will be back!

We spent five days at this delightful riad in March. The owners, Massimo and Giorgina, turned out to be warm, friendly, informative and efficient. Massimo met our taxi at the walls of the Medina and personally escorted us to the riad. He and Giorgina were always available to give us advice and information -- not just about where to go and what to see, but also how to be a visitor in Marrakech, how to interact with the locals and make the most of a short time in this intriguing city. The riad itself is clean, comfortable -- and charming in a traditionally Moroccan way. This is a happy place: the fact that the staff manage to be friendly and helpful as well as efficient says a lot about their employers. We wanted to experience a hammam and take a day trip to walk in the Atlas foothills. Both were excellent and arranged for us faultlessly by our hosts. In short, we could not have wished for more. Thank you, Massimo and Giorgina!

If you are thinking of going to Marrakech then you must stay at Riad Clos des Arts. Giorgina and Massimo are the perfect hosts and the Riad is absolutely beautiful. We were welcomed with a delicious mint tea and biscuits while Massimo gave us some information as to where we should go (and where not to go). We had asked them if they could arrange a guide for us for the first afternoon and this was absolutely brilliant. We had a 3 hour tour of the city (no shopping involved) and were taken to places that we would never have gone to ourselves. It was the best introduction beacause after that we felt very comfortable walking around on our own. The next morning we had a cooking session with" Ateliers d'Ailleurs" which was also recommended by Giorgina and Masssimo and I cannot speak highly enough of this. It was the most amazing experience.

We had a lovely meal in the Riad on our first night and went to a restaurant recommended by them on our 2nd night. Breakfast was taken on the beautiful and peaceful roof terrace each morning - yogurts, juices, smoothies, bread, jams and eggs - delicious.

Marrakech is a place I have always wanted to go to and it far exceeded my expectations due to Riad Clos des Arts, the wonderful hosts and their staff and the experiences we had. Thank you for making it a really memorable trip.

My wife (Helen) and I stayed at Riad le Clos des Arts for 2 nights in March 2014 and were so happy that we did. It is well located inside of the Medina - within a few minutes walking distance to the central square.

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Giorgina and after we settled in, over a warm cup of mint tea and cookies, she produced a map for us and illustrated on it the key places to see and better yet what to avoid. The next day when we met Massimo and talked for more than an hour we had the feeling that we were house guests of a wonderful couple.

Riad le Clos des Arts is beautiful and the rooms are very, very nicely decorated. A wonderful breakfast is served each morning with homemade: yogurts, jams, breads, eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice … either on the beautiful rooftop or if the weather is inclement, in a very nice dining room on the first level.

The bottom line is if you want an excellently priced, ideally located, beautiful Riad that is well located inside of the Medina and want to feel completely at home and welcomed look no further – you will be ecstatic that you stayed here.

From the moment I first contacted the incredible hosts, Giorgina and Massimo by email almost a year in adavnce of our trip, I was hooked. Their responsiveness and care was impressive. This is my second time at Riad le Clos des Arts, and I hope to came back again asap. The Riad is fantastic and so well managed by Giorgina and Massimo, the two magnific owners. Riad le Clos des Arts complements the beauty and mystique of the Marrakech Medina, and as such, enhances one's holiday experience in Morocco. Stayed here for 4 nights from 14th Feb 2014 in Amethyst room.

We stayed at this glorious Riad in mid December and it is central to the wonderful memories we have of our holiday in Marrakech.

From the moment I first contacted the incredible hosts, Giorgina and Massimo by email almost a year in adavnce of our trip, I was hooked. Their responsiveness and care was impressive. The customer care philosophy continued over many months of occasional contact and requests, through to our arrival and during our stay with them. This level of care and attention to detail is a rarity these days, so you will appreciate feeling like you are the only ones that matter. Giorgina and Massimo truly have this gift!

The Riad is something they are truly very proud of and you feel like you are staying with friends from day one. They are so welcoming and equally want you to have the best experience possible in their beloved Marrakech and beyond, so their guidance and advice about what to see and do is invaluable. This care and attention is also seen from their own extended family, their cooks and staff who look after you so well. Always with a big bright smile.

Everyone has talked about the beautiful breakfasts and the dinners by request. We can confirm this. We had two exquisite dinners in the Riad, prepared by the fabulous Leila, and Giorgina went out of her way to arrange a bowl of pasta for our youngest son. Our boys (9 and 15) were so excited to get up every morning to see what little surprises would be included with breakfast (usually up on the terrace, if sunny, even in December) - a selection of different types of home baked breads, moroccon (to-die-for) "pancake" or cakes each day, exotic fruit, simply delicious omelettes, and their signature home made rosewater yoghurt, which we are now craving back home!

Needless to say the decor in this Riad is stunning, as the many photos attached to the multiple Reviews highlight. We stayed in the Turquoise (glorious!) and our two boys stayed in Corail which they loved too, both on the second floor and perfectly appointed.

On our first day we visited a number magical Marrakech sites accompanied by a wonderful local guide. This eased us into the environment which could otherwise feel overwhelming especially with kids. It also meant we were never unduly hassled even walking through the souks. Furthermore, he gave us some great tips on what to say, what to expect and how to bargain. By the end of the week we felt like locals!

Because we stayed six nights we had plenty of time to see and do all we wanted, and this included two day-trips, suggested and organised by Massimo and Giorgina: an Atlas Mountain trek to the village of Imlil and a trip to Essaouira, both amazing and a contrast to the hustling bustling city of Marrakech. We also did a luxurious Hammam in the Angsana day spa - an unforgettable experience. Massimo even managed to convince my initially resistant husband to give it a try. We both floated back to the Riad feeling perfectly relaxed. We also managed to do a half day cooking class over at House of Fusion with the incredible Edwina, a passionate Australian foodie/chef who taught us how to make some delicious meals.

Massimo, Giorgina, Adrianna and staff....a heartfelt thank you to all of you for making our stay so special. We have unforgettable memories of Morocco and much of this is thanks to your guidance, special attention and our experience staying withbyou. You are all amazing and special people. Thank you so much!
