“Beautiful and quiet riad with most helpful host!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2014 via mobile

We booked last minute and never regretted! To find your way in Marrakech medina was crazy and we were with a rental car. We made the mistake of not calling Simo to help us to find our way and that cost us - in the end we had to pay 4 local boys for getting to riad. The rest of the stay was great - this riad is very nice, Simo, the host, was most helpful and attentive and after a tiring day wondering in Souks it was a pleasure to return to the peacefulness of riad Limouna. If you stay in Marrakech stay at least several days, take riad instead of an hotel and don't miss Place Jamaal Fna during night - this is unforgettable and unmissable atmosphere!

Deciding on a Riad in Marrakech can be difficult as there are so many good reviews, so we looked for one with friendly and helpful staff - we were not disappointed. We knew that we'd be arriving very late (flight landed at 22:30) so Antoine had arranged for an airport transfer and food when we arrived. The transfer was stress-free, and the food was a home-cooked traditional tagine.

We were in Marrakech for 3 nights, and the Riad was perfect. About 7 mins walk from the main square, and very easy to find. On the first morning, Antoine explained where everything was on a map, then walked with us to the square, while showing us how to get back to the Riad - it's easy to get lost in Marrakech! It's a crazy city (in a good way!), but every time we arrived back at the Riad, the stress of the city just disappeared.

The room was nice, and was always clean. It had a shower and toilet (although only a curtain between the bedroom and bathroom). We didn't spend much time in the room, as you can also sit down in the main shared area, living room or on the roof terrace. There are only a few rooms, so it's nice and quiet.

Breakfast was provided each morning and was a little different each day. Traditional and simple, but very nice. Other food is available if you let them know in advance - it's worth eating dinner there at least once, they really do know how to cook! It's also a good excuse to have a quiet evening, bottle of wine, and a chat with Antoine and any other guests around.

Antoine, Simo and the staff were fantastic - always there to help, and willing to take the time to explain things. I hope to return to Marrakech at some point, and wouldn't hesitate in going straight back to Riad Limouna!

We spent an amazing three nights at Riad Limouna under the excellent care of Antoine. The Riad is beautifully kept and exceptionally clean, including the bedroom and bathrooms. There's plenty of space to relax either downstairs or on the roof terrace while enjoying a complimentary mint tea.

Although we didn't plan to, we ate at the Riad every night. The food was exceptional and produced in a very traditional Moroccan style, Antoine also took great care to cater for us as vegetarians.

Antoine also took plenty of time to explain the best sites to see and provided us with multiple maps to get about. We also really appreciated Antoine walking us to the Medina the first time, navigating the Marrakech streets can be a daunting task for the first timer!

If you are looking for a genuine Moroccan experience while in Marrakech we highly recommend Antoine and Riad Limouna.

Mr Antoine welcomes you like if you were a long time friend visiting him. From our initial contact, Antoine, the owner, made sure that every little details of our trip was taking care of. The riad was very well renovated. Each of the rooms have their unique name and ambience. Ours was the Paprika room.. You will find all the commodities of a boutique hotel, but with the charm of a 5-room B&B. The riad is uniquely located just 5 min from the infamous Place Djemaa El Fna. Try his cuisine for one evening...it is worth trying.

Marrakech can be stress inducing. We stayed at either end of a trip to the mountains. Riad Limouna is an oasis of calm from where you can visit Jemaa el Fna and the souks in bite size mini trips. We also arranged our transfers to and from the airport via Limouna and ate a couple of superb meals there and so returned from our break ... feeling like we had been on holiday !

Room Tip: We had two different pairs of rooms. All were excellent.

Riad Limouna is in an ideal location and Antoine is the perfect host. The Riad itself is lovely, the rooms traditional and comfortable. You are very much made to feel like you are at home and I highly recommend having a meal there - it was delicious! Antoine took time to ensure that we made the most of our stay in Marrakech, walking us to the main square - Jamaa El Fna, giving us a map and highlighting the best places to go in the time we had. Would highly recommend this Riad to anyone!

Riad Limouna and the staff exceeded all of our expectations.
I cannot recommend it enough!
The rooms are cosy, very clean and comfortable, the food was amazing and Antoine is the perfect host who will aim to help you in anyway he can.
The location is great especially if you are only staying for a few nights as many of the main sights are all within walking distance.
Also recommended is the hammam and massage at the sister Riad - pure bliss

In short this is THE place to stay in Marrakech!!
