We stayed in the Borjs as our last stop on a tour around Morocco. The hotel is very comfortable and clean, and the young, local staff very helpful, friendly and attentive. The rooms are well laid out (although possibly a little small) and the air conditioning is a blessing. The food is very good, and we had breakfast each day, one lunch and one dinner. Our only grumble with the hotel is that it feels like a hotel, and not a riad. The hotel is an amalgamation of numerous smaller riads and feels to have become a bit less personal, and less Moroccan in the process.

Don't get me wrong if this is the only place you stay you'll probably love it but you'll miss out on a great deal that Morocco has to offer. The walk into the Djeema al Fna is also quite lenghty (about fifteen to twenty minutes).

One of the true highlights of our very recent trip through Europe and (we just got back) was “Les Borj”. Everything people have written about this property is accurate. Beautifully designed, clean, tasteful and serene. The perfect oasis from the noise and heat outside in the Kasbah.

From the moment we arrived and was escorted to the lounge to Mint tea everything encouraged you to relax and unwind.

Our suite (303) was lovely, with a sitting area and great bathroom. It overlooked the pool and also a quiet courtyard, and caught the afternoon breezes through the many windows.

The in-house restaurant is excellent and we enjoyed a digestation dinner as well and the great breakfasts. Orange Juice will always remind me of Marrakech as it was always freshly squeezed and cold.

The pool is excellent and lunch is available poolside as well – which was a treat.

The hotel has its own Hamman and we took advantage of this experience along with a wonderful massage afterwards. A great way to unwind after being shopping in the Souks. I highly recommend it!

The staff are very courteous, efficient and professional and completed a wonderful stay in Morocco. We definitely will be back!

We were a group of 7 friends travelling to morroco for the first time and we can all say that we had a fabulous time and will definitely be recommending Marrakech as a short break destintion. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful. Whilst in Marrakech we took a minibus to the ourika valley and had a superb time and one evening we visited Chez Ali again fantastic. Both trips were arranged through the hotel.

The hotels location is great as it is just a short distance through the medina to the square.

thank for such a fabulous time.
