“A nice place to relax and have a bite to eat”
Reviewed March 20, 2014

Located within an easy walk from sightseeing in the Kasbah, Cafe Clock in Marrakesh offers a nice selection of food, including a number of vegetarian selections. The dessert menu is hard to resist and the beverage choices provide a good selection of fresh and bottled drinks. The late afternoon entertainment is worth the time to stop! Music and traditional storytelling make this cafe a jewel of the Kasbah!

“Excellent cafe in Kasbah area”
Reviewed March 11, 2014 via mobile

Would definitely recommend this cafe to rest weary legs and enjoy excellent food served by enthusiastic staff. The decor is a refreshing clean and modern look with a great rooftop area. We only indulged in the patisseries, which are good and the ubiquitous mint tea, which itself was refreshing in not having sugar already added.
Staff seem to be mostly students from the university and hence very eager and friendly. They host events such as music sessions and story telling (in English!). If you want a very clean and good value venue in that part of town then this was the best we came across.

“a most precious place in Marrakech!”
Reviewed March 10, 2014

As a Marrakech native, I am absolutely thrilled that this place exists in my hometown, there's such a warm and friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in. The art on display is amazing and speaks to the originality of this coffeeshop/restaurant. Yes, it's quite the walk from the Koutoubia mosque but nothing too arduous at all. As a school librarian, I instantly felt at home with all the books in plain view and readily available on the shelves at the entrance. But my favorite area is definitely the open terrace upstairs, where you can soak up all the lovely sunlight while also enjoying their delicious Bollywood icecream. I have yet to try their main courses (especially the many vegetarian options!) and the other desserts so I will be heading there again very soon. I'd recommend the place for anyone, family, couples, tourists, locals... okay perhaps not a business meeting or couples looking for a classy dinner but the Cafe Clock staff are ever so welcoming that i don't see anyone not enjoying their time here.

“Best cafe in Marrakech!”
Reviewed March 6, 2014 via mobile

Finally a cafe in Marrakech that you can just chill in. No hassle from street sellers and a perfect spot to while away the hours while sipping a mint lemonade and enjoying the sights, sounds and sunshine of the red city.

“best experience !”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

we went to the newly opened cafe. literally! It has a great reputation in Fes and they are employing same fusion style here in the Kasbah. Its down a lane on way to Jardines of the Medina hotel. Inside the Riad theres couple of floors and a roof terrace.

We had the "in"famous Camel burger. Its huge and served american style with fries and salad. Well I have eaten camel before but never like this.. I don;t know what the chef does but this is 5 star young camel. (camellette?)

We went for the Absinthe Tea and cheesecake on another occasion and the Owner recognised us and came over for a chat, telling us about their music event later. We came back for some local musicians and a street artist.

All in all I totally adored it, staff are from Fez, all have perfect language skills, service prompt , for that we lingered for the music. The art is from local artists, and its a marvelous combination of English efficiency and it doesnt loose the local charm.

Apart from the camel burger there is a short cafe food menu, all of which we tasted was yummy and good value for money.
