Full disclosure: Cafe Clock Marrakech isn't actually open yet. However, they are holding tastings of their menu options almost every night, and I was lucky enough to attend the seafood basitilla day. It was DELICIOUS. I've had bastilla several times in country-- twice in Moroccans' houses-- and this was on par with those dishes. It was flavorful, filling, and the perfect size. The potatoes, salad, and cardamom-mango ice cream left me with a full and satisfied belly as well. It's obvious that the restaurant has a great understanding of traditional Moroccan dishes, but also knows where to take creative liberties to add unique, unforgettable signatures and make the food their own. Thanks for a great meal, and I'm looking forward to coming back when it's open!
