Just a short walk from the square this beautiful Riad is excellent value. They arranged everyting for us; taxi to and from theairport, transport of bags etc. They do dinner as well and provided us with some the best food we had anywhere in Morocco. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff can't do enough to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We'll certainly stay there again.

Marrakesh is a very demanding place to stay, with just about everyone determined to squeeze every last dirham out of you as you travel around, so this riad is a delight, being 1 minute from the main square. Zak and Latifah do everything they can to make you welcome and its worth eating in one evening and asking for a trad 'tangier' dish, which is cooked during the day in the coals of the nearby hamaams. The whole space is tranquil, relaxing and spacious, with visitors able to make use of the upstairs balcony and relax in the courtyard if it gets too hot. For a few extra euros you can get the spacious suite on the top floor.

Room Tip: The top floor suite is the best room.

Marrakech is a fascinating city with culture, sun and shopping! The Riad was a great haven tucked just behind the square and once you were in the front door, tranquil. Recently refurbed and very clean so a delight to be in, a traditional Riad with great service and food. We ate Morrocan dishes on the first night which were delicious-tagines, salads and fresh fruit and so delicious we had the left overs for lunch the next day and for €18 fantastic value too when compared to some restaurant offerings around. L'Orientale beautiful go I quickly as I intend to recommend it everyone!

Room Tip: Say if you want a bath, though the showers are lv.

From the moment we were met at the airport Latifa and her staff created a peaceful haven from the wonderful chaos that is Marrakesh. Our room was spotless, because it looked over the courtyard was airy and the shower provided hot water at a good pressure at all times of the day. Our breakfast was varied and included local jams, yogourts and bread a perfect start to our day spent in the souks, squares, gardens and hamman all literally just a short walk away. Absolutely nothing to dislike. We felt welcome and cosseted at all times.

I have always wanted to visit Marrakech and finally got round to it with my boyfriend. We had no idea where to stay until a friend of mine who go there often recommended the Riad De L'Orientale saying it was the best hotel to stay and they were not wrong. The location was right in the centre next to the main square and all the souks. The room was everything I could have asked for , Clean, traditional, safe and spacious plus had a lovely roof toop terrace for the guests.

The breakfast was delicious and all home made. make sure you try their yoghurt (Yum)

The hotel manager Latifa was very hospitable. She made our stay so relaxing plus had some helpful advice on where to go and eat out and advice on must see places to visit.

I highly recommend this hotel and will certainly be returning.
