As parents of toddler twin boys, having some time to be yourself is like gold. Riad Bayti provided this & more. Very conveniently located in the Jewish Quarter, it's a short walk from the famous & lively Place Jemaa el Fna & a stone's throw from some great bars, restaurants & main attractions (El Badi Palace; Saadian Tombs etc). That shouldn't detract from how lovely it is to eat at Riad Bayti; for an extremely reasonable price, you get quality, delicious home-cooked tasting Moroccan food, top class service, friendly staff & you can purchase wines/beers too; all in the most gorgeous & peaceful setting.
Abdel (manager) could not be more helpful; he's great at organising excursions, helping to negotiate local purchases & providing advice about local attractions. In fact, the staff, without exception, are superb, welcoming, & always friendly. The owner (Jean-Christophe) is extremely accommodating, & we shared some good laughs over dinner in the riad.
We came here this time without our children, but we will be back soon with them, as Riad Bayti is clearly a family friendly base from which to explore this wonderful old city.
Thank you, to all at Riad Bayti.More
