This is a truly wonderful place to stay. The tranquillity of the beautiful gardens and the comfort of the tented rooms make for a wonderful restful holiday. You could wish for nothing more. Just 20 minutes from the hurly burly of Marrakesh and many tourist attractions, but you feel like you have landed in paradise. Great food and wonderful staff too. Perfection!

We stayed here for two nights in June. We booked it as part of a week in Morocco.

Booking was easy over email and we also arranged a transfer from the airport, so far so good. We arrived from the Easyjet flight at around 10 in the morning and headed straight for the pool. We spent a lovely day by the great pool in the well kept gardens and then ate in the dining room in the evening. I couldn't help but feel trapped as there were no choices on the menu. At lunch I told them that we didn't eat fish and they said this was fine, then a tuna salad arrived and they didn't have anything else to offer us. The food was expensive and of just average quality. There are no shops or restaurants in the area and a taxi to Marrakech is 50Euros, and there is no chance of a better deal as your only option is to book through the hotel. Be aware of this as you have to pay for bottled water and the prices are high because there is no competition.
After dinner we went back to our tent, which are as nice as they look in the pictures. Unfortunately there was a storm and then a power cut which lasted from 8pm until 8am in the morning. The following day we headed back to the pool and arranged for a taxi to take us into Marrakech at 4pm. Unfortunately another powercut occurred which also cut the water supply off. So on this day we were unable to have lunch, a shower or use the air conditioning.
Before leaving we spoke to the manager about the possibility of a discount considering that for most of our stay there had been no power or water, but she laughed at our request.
I was really glad to leave this place, I found the staff unhelpful and rude, the manager speaks English but refuses to use it and prefers to make her guests feel uncomfortable. It is expensive to stay there considering the facilities and you then have to fork out for overpriced food, water and taxis.

My advice would be to find a riad in the centre of Marrakech and enjoy all that the city has to offer. At least if you don't like it you can go out, or even find another place to stay. Even better, skip Marrakech altogether and head to Essoaira. Its cooler, cleaner and much nicer.

A pleasant peaceful environment to relax after the rigours of bartering in souks - although the out-of-town, slightly remote location can make it a bit of an adventure if you just pick up a random taxi in Marrakech.

The best bit of this place is definitely the pool with accompanying sunloungers and shaded tents - had a lovely day chilling out and reading here.

The tent itself is good fun and intimate - lots of space inside and definitely a novel experience.

Sadly, what let this place down for us was the lack of choice in the food - each meal is a set menu with no options given. In addition, unfortunately despite being delivered with a smile in most cases, the quality of the service was average to poor.

If you're looking for a peaceful break outside Marrakech this may be the place for you, but we're unlikely to visit again. Also from the experience of our trip we definitely wouldn't recommend using this as a base for a trip to Marrakech - much better to head for a lovely Riad in the heart of the Medina.

The tent was beautifully decorated with a spacious bathroom, storage cupboards, a/c and heater. The surroundings were beautiful with views of the Atlas mountains and there was plenty of space for the kids to run around and play. The only thing is that this was all in the middle of nowhere. The place is great for people who want to get away for a relaxing holiday, but not at all suitable for people like me who love the noisy atmosphere of D'jema al fana. We found ourselves getting bored after a couple of hours and ended up paying 300MAD for a taxi to the square.

We stayed there in March and found the tent to be very cold at night even with the heater at full speed. The staff were friendly and were happy to prepare breakfast earlier than usual as we had to catch an early flight.

I would only recommend this to people who wish to relax in peace and quiet and definitely not to those who like to explore and be among the hustle and bustle.

Stunning oasis, amazing food, brilliant staff.....we arrived late but were serviced a wonderful 2 course lunch and brought cold wine by the pool. The tent was beautiful and fully air conditioned.
The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. It was so good we went back 2 nights later and experienced the same 5 star treatment from the staff and owners. We will be going back!

Tents themselves are very well equipped and we loved the setting. Gardens are pretty and the kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Staff are all very friendly and the owners are particularly welcoming. We had two very nice meals there and and chilled, relaxing in the sunshine. After three manic days in Marrakesh it was the perfect anitdote to the hustle and bustle of shopping Moroccan style! Taxi drivers don't seem to know where it is so it is useful to have GPS/mobile numbers of the Jardins to hand or use their collect service. After reading some mixed reviews, we were thrilled with our choice and would ideally like to have stayed longer.............

Excellent for family holiday. Warm and friendly hosts who really spoilt our young child. Delicious food for all meals - no menu as such but everything we were offered was delicious, particularly the lunch buffet. Had forgotten to inform them we didn't eat meat until the moment we arrived, but offered us a delicious vegetarian option for dinner without fuss. The family tent was an excellent size and beautifully furnished. I wished we could have stayed longer and hope to return very soon. My only advice is to maybe pack earplugs if you are a light sleeper as you can hear dogs barking, tree frogs, crickets, as you would expect when staying under canvas in the desert.
