Having traveled to Mughal palaces in India and seen more finer arts, it was not too exciting. The Palais El- Badi was more interesting than this empty palace filled dark hallways. The doors and woodwork was nice but not fascinating.

Can go if you have time.

The intricate designs on the doors, walls, ceilings were amazing.
Beautiful and peaceful to see it. Its unfortunate that the whole place was empty with no furnitures
or any other morroccan artefacts for display.
Took lots of pictures for the great memories...xx

Do go in to the palace without thinking about the very poorly designed gate. The hidden palace is a very nice start to explore in Marrakech. Tiles, arches, doorways.

A beautiful building, where one could imagine meeting and being entertained by sultans and princes.
It would really come alive if it were furnished with period pieces to really give a feel for the way palace life was.
