Very nice palace lovely gardens.
Must see during your visit to Marrakech.
It's one of the palaces that is still up and actually nice to see and that you can visit.

Beautiful high decorated cedar ceilings, great doors, 4 seasons garden, fountain, different quarters and their histories. The palace provides a kind of serenity and peace even though it was not at its glorious state. Most of monuments we visited in Marrakech were not well kept but at least they're still there for us to visit, touch, feel and admire.

This small place is definitely worth to see however I strongly advice to visit it either very early or just before the closing time which is 16:45 thus you can avoid bumping on people and destructive crowd. Ceilings are simply stunning having in mind both colours & design. It revokes Alhambra in structure and overall taste , Istanbul in design and ceilings of castle of Nizwa in Oman.

Visiting this palace was a wonderful experience. This place is full of history with unique Arab-style architecture. Even though it can get quite crowded, it is nonetheless it has a quaint and peaceful atmosphere. So for us it was a peaceful escape from all the chaos outside in the Marrakech medina.

The courtyard is delightful cooling and quiet if you get there before the coachloads! The decoration is wonderful too.
