Enjoyed the architecture and our guide showed us details that opened windows on small areas of local life a century ago. Lovely and cool in the summer heat too.

“Facinating to See another Countries history and archtecture”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

WE had our own private guide so were able to see everything and learn what each room was for and its history. This gave us a great insight to what and how the hirearchy lived in Morocco in the past and how they have evolved to the 21st Century. What was amazing was how cool it was in the various rooms and open courtyards. Not to be missed.

On the day we visited there were large tours visiting we were disappointed as other places in the region have more to see just walking down the street such as Luxor Aswan etc

“A wonderful example of 15th century architecture”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

Whilst the rooms echo a little from the lack of furniture, the architecture is a wonderful display of decadence and ornate artisan craftmanship - a definite must see, particularly at the lowly price of less than a euro per adult.
