“Beautiful palace”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2012

Interesting history. The favorite wife = the wife who bore the eldest son. Her room is the most beautiful with separte sections for the babies, servants. Shocked to see that other wives/servants/babies lived under such small enclosures, separated by curtains. Wives are like sisters that took care of each other, yeah right!

“Nice short break”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2012

Easy to find and easy to enter attraction. The palace is empty and whats left are the empty rooks with nice ceilings. Take about twenty minutes and your on the street again.

“Nothing to write home about!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2012

Although Bahia Palace was worth a visit and interesting to see, the experience did not make or break my visit to Marrakesh! Although compared to some of the other sites in Marrakesh such as Menara Gardens I would suggest that Bahia Palace is more worthy of a visit.

“10/10”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2012

A beautifull palace, that is well worth the small entrance fee (1 euro) Takes approx 1 hour, i went on my own but plenty of guided trips going round. A perfect example of a Moslem palace. Do not miss.

“How to live with 28 women”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2012

The palace where the Shiek lived with his 4 wives and 25 mistresses. Like the way that the wives were kept separate.
