“5 Star Moroccan Style”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2014

Excellent riad and very helpful staff. The location is excellent and very close to the famous square. The riad is a nice refuge in the middle of the busy medina.
Loved the breakfast on the rooftop and the afternoon tea. We have experienced real Moroccan hospitality that has been among the highlights of our trip.

I cannot possibly say enough great things about this place. It is absolutely gorgeous and situated in a fantastic location. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely and well appointed. The view from the rooftop terrace allows you to take in the sights of the Medina, as you are only minutes away from the main square. Abu, the owner, is an absolute gentleman who treated 3 girls from the UK that had a rather difficult first day in Marrekech to a sumptuous afternoon tea in sitting area by the fireplace. If you are looking for paradise in Marrakech - look no further. This is the perfect place to stay.

This riad is excellent to stay in, from the moment we enter to the time we leave, the service provided is great and the staff are always on their feet to help you and cater for your needs. If your coming Marrakech then this is definitely the place to stay, everything about this riad is perfect, you can chill at the rooftop or get cozy in the lounge. In this riad you get full time service, where there will be someone to provide you with delicious cuisines, chauffeur you around the city and even look out for you when you are out. Many thanks to Abu for welcoming us soo well and being extremely friendly and helpful.

A wonderful get away from freezing New York
A cozy environment , polite staff ,spacious and clean rooms and delicious foods
I have visited many countries and I have never been motivated enough to write a feedback about a hotel so far.
But this was not just a hotel or Riad for me.
As an immigrant living in US away from family. DarAnika reminded me the warmth of my family back home (Mostly those warm home made BARBARI breads.)
The manager "Mr Abu" was a real "Gentleman" , genuinely seeking our comfort and pleasure rather than his personal benefit.
(What I saw unfortunately few days later in another Riad in Fez).

OMG! What a place. We stayed at Dar Anika on the first day of our honeymoon. We were greeted with roses, hot towels to freshen up, dates, milk, mint tea and freshly home baked pastries (traditional Moroccan welcome). Flowers laid out on our bed, together with complimentary fresh fruits and pastries. We also really enjoyed the Hammam and Massage treatment and felt so relaxed and pampered, it was marvelous. Did not try the pool but hopefully there is always next year. The staff were without exception charming, and helpful.

We had an amazing 2 nights at Riad Dar Anika last weekend. We travelled to celebrate my own and my husband's 40th birthdays, and the trip couldn't have been more special. We were so well looked after from start to finish. The service and food was excellent and plentiful, the staff were friendly and helpful, our suite was beautiful. Highlights were an open fire bing lit in our room, breakfast on the roof terrace, "Happy Birthday" being sung in English, French and Arabic to accompany our birthday cake (not ordered or expected!), a couples hammam and massage. The staff recommended La Maison Arabe for dinner on my husband's birthday, and arranged a reservation and another surprise birthday cake.

The location of the Riad is excellent, being an easy walk to the main square, but also close to a road for ease of use of taxis.

We cannot recommend Dar Anika highly enough.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 2, a suite, which was spacious and beautiful.
