If you are planning a trip to Marrakech then staying in a Riad is the answer so you can have a complete experience and feel 'local'. Riad Dar Sbihi was an Oasis in the middle of mayhem. Even the drums at night and local night noises were all part of the pleasure of staying in the Medina area of Marrakech. Sybille arranged all the excursions for us and the walking half day tour was brilliant as it showed you where to go, what to see and took away the initial worry of thinking you would get lost (which of course you do anyway). My sister and I loved it. The Atlas Mountains was a great tour and our taxi driver Abdul, although couldn't speak a lot of English (we did better with our tourist French) was extemely helpful and made us feel very welcome and pointed out the sights and generally was fantastic - an amazing driver as you wouldn't want to navigate the mules, motorcyclist, cars and people yourself. Saad and Sybille, the owners, and their staff were helpful and made us feel very welcome in their wonderful Riad.
