The perfect retreat away from the craziness of the Marrakech souks. We had a wonderful welcome from Abdou with traditional mint tea and a homemade map explaining the many ins and outs of Marrakech. Our bags were carried upstairs to our room (Sand room), which was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. We spent a lot of our time up on the roof terrace which provided everything you need in a busy city such as Marrakech - sun loungers, shade, magazines, cushions, and of course olives and peanuts with every chilled drink! Wine was readily available too - something we weren't expecting! And we enjoyed a lovely meal our first night of chicken tagine and Moroccan salad with cinnamon orange to finish. We decided to end our two week trip here and we're so glad we did, it continued to be just as wonderful as before. Aziz was great too, incredibly helpful despite the language barrier. We stayed in the Chocolate room the second time round which was even nicer, bigger and roomier but with the exact same good taste. Really recommend this place!
