“Super quaint riad!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2012

i wish i could give this riad 10 stars!

We only stayed here for one night because our other riad in Marrakesh was fully booked on the 1st day we arrived. We did move to the other riad for the rest of the nights. It was a nice one too, but somehow we found ourselves coming back to here everyday to have tea or a drink with Allan/Malika(the wonderful owners). That's how much we LOVED this place!!! it just felt like home. They were so helpful in negativing us thru the medina and the square, recommending places to eat/visit. We learned so much about morocco's history through Allan's animated storytelling.

This place is intimate, authentic and welcoming. The people are the best part of this place. attentive staffs. The entire riad is beautiful with restored original details. courtyard is well decorated with antiques. nice clean rooms. great breakfast. beautiful rooftop. serene pool. i could just go on and on about all the great things we had so little time to enjoy. trust me, it will be hard to leave.

centralized location tucked into a quiet street. minutes away from everything.

hope to stay here again! def longer next time :)

We had three wonderful days in a Riad which has staff and an ambience that makes you feel you are "home". The most wonderful welcome with everything you could wish for. A beautiful room, information book with all questions you needed to be answered. A swimming pool that is so inviting after a day exploring the souks. Great location hidden away but easy to find once you know your way. Take part in a cookery lesson - a great way to bring a little bit more of Morocco home with you. After eating your dinner relax on the magical terrace under the stars.
Highly recommend - we will definately return.

Room Tip: All rooms are fab!

Booked through Naturally Morocco whose arrangements were first class throughout.June is a relatively quiet month in Morocco and the temperature was also comfortable for walking the old town.If North Africa does concern you at all,Allan and Malika quickly dispel any uncertainty and Allan's first morning guided tour should not be missed. We also benefited from dinner the first night with them both - just let them know before arrival your choice of food as everything is bought fresh in the market.Bedrooms are roomy and comfortable and you will only be disturbed by the early morning call to prayer!A small pool sets off the delightful interior.

Room Tip: Only 5 bedrooms but the 3 on the first floor benefit from a little more natural light.

Beautiful oasis of calm in the heart of the medina. Run by a friendly English and French couple who were very helpful. Rooms and courtyard were stunning and great roof terrace. Highly recommended and good value.

There is no better riad in Marrakech as far as we were concerned. Alan and Malika made us feel welcome. Alan's humor was exemplary. We laughed all the way. He also gave us a walking tour of the medina. His love for Marrakech and enthusiasm for the country permeated every one of us. We loved it there. The decor, the atmosphere, the staff ... everything was top notch. Take me back anytime.

My girlfriend took me to this riad for my 21st birthday. We were immediately greeted with warm hospitality, and friendly conversation. The owners Alan and Malika, were nothing but kind and helpful throughout our stay. Comfortable bedrooms, and a gorgeous roof terrace (frequently serviced by the fantastic staff) helped to make our stay one of true luxury and tradition.
We will certainly be returning in the not too distant future.

we have just spent five nights as a group of friends at this wonderful riad. The welcome from Alan and team, the excellent shopping and tour advice. The hospitality and attention to our every need was truley wonderful. The accommodation is amazing tucked away in the back streets of Marrakech. The staff so friendly and helpful, it was like coming home to a little oasis.

Room Tip: All the rooms are loovely and each unique - dont worry there are no bad rooms here, all have A/C, sh...
